Tiffany Ashton began her career as a Clinical Research Coordinator before moving into the Clinical Research Associate role. When she transitioned to Clinical Trial Manager, she went from successful CRA to struggling CTM. Over time, Tiffany learned from (many) mistakes and went from feeling overwhelmed and incompetent to mastering the CTM role.

With over 20 years spent working in Clinical Research (10+ years in Clinical Trial Management), Tiffany has firsthand industry-specific expertise that is second to none.

As the Director of Operations at ClinEssentials, Tiffany utilizes her experience to understand the pressures research professionals face daily. In this role, she works to strategically address challenges, overcome obstacles, provide critical guidance, and sharpen skills to elevate careers to the next level.

Tiffany’s challenges 10+ years ago as a new CTM inspired her to work with the team at ClinEssentials to develop the CTM Training Course. As the expert instructor for the course, Tiffany personally relates to the difficulties faced by course participants, whom she teaches how to conquer issues and carry out job responsibilities efficiently. Tiffany acts as a mentor and instructor for CTM Training Course attendees to ensure they walk away feeling confident and competent to take on any clinical study as a CTM.

While her experience is central to her success, she also prioritized her education. Tiffany earned a BA from San Diego State University, a Master of Advanced Studies in Clinical Research from the University of California, San Diego, an ACRP Certified Clinical Research Associate designation, and a Certificate in Clinical Trials Design and Management. In addition, Tiffany possesses an impressive and eclectic list of therapeutic experiences.
